Lulworth

A natural attraction

The Lulworth Estate lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast. At its heart stands the impressive Lulworth Castle, the extraordinary Lulworth Cove and the iconic rock arch of Durdle Door.

The village of West Lulworth is your best access point for Lulworth Cove, a natural horseshoe shaped harbour with unique geology, stunning landforms, an extraordinary Fossil Forest and the Lulworth Crumple. Charming eateries tempt and gift shops invite. Take a rib-ride along the coast to Durdle Door or Mupe Bay to enjoy the spectacular coastline at it’s best.

Drop into the Heritage Centre and discover Lulworth’s 150 million year history through colourful and interesting displays, pick up leaflets and book water sport activities including kayaking and coasteering.

The path from the car park climbs steeply over the hill to the famous icon of Durdle Door and beautiful Man O’ War Bay. If you don’t fancy the climb, drive on to Durdle Door Holiday Park from where you can park and walk down to the beach to see the mighty rock arch up close.
