We hope to return camping in July, subject to the government guidance, with limited pitches and facilities, August Bank holiday is full. Other days, outside of bank holidays, will be as before – first come first served and we will update pitch space daily through our website.
Burnbake offers a back-to-nature camping experience that’s relaxed, rustic and charming. Campfires crackle and fairy lights twinkle. We are a turn-up-and-pitch kind of site for tents and small campervans. You won’t find restricting marked pitches here. Simply check in at reception, then go and choose your ideal spot, open and sunny or shaded under the trees.
Our events field is ideal for groups of families and friends who want to pitch together with plenty of space. It is bordered on one side by woodland and a stream and provides the perfect base for young explorers. Wood campfires (in containers off the ground) add to the atmosphere. Fire pits are available for hire subject to availability and you can buy marshmallows to toast from our on site shop which also stocks logs, fine local produce, pastries, groceries, treats, ice creams, toys and camping goods.
Bring a bottle to our little eatery (there’s no corkage fee) cooking up tasty tucker. It’s open every day for breakfast and dinner in peak season and weekends only from May to September.
Burnbake toilet and shower facilities have plenty of free hot water and washing up sinks. There is a baby changing and wash room and a laundry room. We want everyone to enjoy the relaxed environment at Burnbake. Well behaved dogs are welcome at no charge, however they must be kept on a lead at all times and any deposits quickly cleared up. We ask that you keep a safe distance between pitches and remain peaceful, keeping noise to a minimum after 10.30pm.
