Rempstone Rides

Purbeck is cycling country, with miles of safe, traffic free riding through jaw dropping scenery.

Burnbake itself has 20 acres of woodland, great for kids to pedal around and explore.

For the more adventurous, many amazing voyages of discovery start at Burnbake, calling at inns along the way to re-fuel. The Isle of Purbeck is hilly in places which makes for fantastic views. There are plenty of flat trails too. Drop in to reception for ideas or check out the cyclexperience website www.purbeckcyclehire.co.uk.

Bikes can be hired from cyclexperience at Purbeck Park, Norden near Corfe Castle, open April to October. If you want to rides those hills and enjoy the views the easy way, they also hire electric bikes, but pre-booking is advised.

There is an abundance of routes to follow and places to discover. You can cycle to Studland, Agglestone Rock (also known as the Devil’s Anvil), Blue Pool, Kimmeridge, Lulworth, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World, Lawrence of Arabia’s grave and Tolpuddle armed with only a bike, a map and a little energy!
