Winter staycations
January and February are a lovely time to make the most of Dorset as it’s much quieter with tourists.
The breath-taking beaches are a perfect sandy play area for you and your pooch, thanks to miles of the historic Jurassic Coastline, stunning seaside views, sand dunes and hidden bays. With walking and cycle routes direct from your lodge door, you can spend the day exploring Purbeck and all it has to offer. The neighbouring coastal towns and charming villages are a great place to stop – home to independent shops, cute cafes, and fish and chip shops.
Back at your forest lodge, enjoy some much needed ‘me time’ with an in-lodge massage experience for two, or challenge friends to a board game in front of the fire… Our onsite shop is stocked up with hot chocolate and all the night-in essentials.
